I buckled down yesterday and whipped up the backing and basted and quilted this puppy! Only a bit more quilting to go and then the binding! HOORAY! Then on to other baby sewing adventures!

love this colorful quilt! and seeing this very modern quilt being attended to on a very old machine. Great!!
I lovw it! You are so freakin’ talented!
what a great machine!!! and the quilt is so beautiful!
What a beautiful quilt!! I love those fabrics. Can you tell me what kind of foot that is on your machine? (i’m new to sewing, can you tell?) 🙂
Hi Krystyn!
The foot on my machine is a walking foot made by Alpha Sew. It was about $20 and is a must for sewing quilts!
Thank you!! Is it best to get one with the quilting guide if I’m going to buy a walking foot?
Definately! Most will come with one. I really like the brand I got. It makes straight line quilting a cinch.
