I just finished the last touches on my quilt donation for Modern Relief For Japan. These quilts will be won raffle style by purchasing tickets towards your quilt of choice. The raffle kicks off April 4th. My quilt will be featured along with others starting April 11th for one week. I will be sure to post again to remind all of you who may be interested in participating. I think this is such a wonderful thing and I am so glad to be able to be a part of it 🙂 I hope it raises loads of money for the people in Japan who are in so much need right now.
Here are the specs of the quilt:
- Size-approx. 31″x40″ (perfect for car seat and stroller rides)
- 100% cotton fabric were used. Loads of scraps from various designers such as Heather Ross, Denyse Schmidt, Joel Dewberry, Amy Butler and more are featured in 3 large log cabin squares. Kona cotton in coffee and sage were used. The backing is a fun square design featuring any of the colors used in the blocks.
- Quilted in 1″ crosshatch design using cotton variegated thread by Gutterman.
- Batting is 100% Warm And Natural brand.
Mark your calendars for the official kick off date 🙂 I will post again once my quilt is up for grabs.
