Another block made

I made another block today for the baby quilt I am making for the Japan Relief Raffle.  I am loving the bright fun colors, makes me long for summer!  I just adore the VW bus fabric cut from some Heather Ross Munki Munki Pj’s (new of course).  I am purposefully offsetting the buses in each square.  I am hoping to have all of these done and the quilt top completed by the end of the week.  Stay tuned! 🙂

Something fun I saw today was Jeni’s and Angela’s mug rug tutorials.

they are both participating in a fun mug rug tutorial and giveaway extravaganza over at Two More Seconds. In case you are wondering what in the world mug rugs are, they are a clever idea for a mix between a coaster and a placemat.  So, enough room for a steamy mug and a treat 🙂  Very cute and functional!  Head on over and join the fun!

Happy thursday!
