I started quilting the FMF quilt a few days ago.  It is going slowly.  It always does when I follow the pattern in the top as opposed to an all over design.  I wanted this one more loosely quilted to be more cozy looking.  I am now debating wether hand quilting is the way to go on this one.  I have been practicing, but I am not liking the way the stitches look on the backing fabric.

If you are looking for a great tutorial on hand quilting, I found this one to be really good:

I am planning on an embroidered label this time.  I hope it turns out lovely 🙂

Happy Friday!

I’m too nervous to try to hand quilt ….it just seems like once you start, you are in for the long haul 🙂
What a fun view you have while sewing!
