Something New

I am dying to create something!  I have been on a long hiatus from making anything and it is killing me!  Life has been so busy lately and I have been super busy with etsy orders.  Sometimes I just need to make something for myself 🙂

I found these fantastic vintage embroidery transfers at the vintage craft store and was in heaven when I found the stag pattern!  The iron on ink doesn’t work anymore so I had to trace it onto the fabric and I finally got it all done this afternoon.  I have been collecting Erin Michael’s Lush fabrics for a long time waiting for a project.  I think the time has come 🙂  I want to make a pillow featuring the embroidery and accent with the Lush fabrics.  I cannot wait to finish this one.

What are you working on this week?

I love that you have a Vintage Craft Store to go to. Now I’m in a thrifting mood and might have to indulge this morning 🙂 I am working on getting my Christmas Swap block done, unfortunately it’s going to be a little late and I’m working on my 3rd block for the 3×6 Bee. My first time in these and it’s fun, and a great learning experience to get out of my comfort zone. Today is finally a brisk morning (66) yahoo!
