Madrona Road Challenge

How lucky am I to have sweet Violet Craft in my modern quilt guild?  Very I say :) She is the nicest, you guys! Such a lovely person.   The Modern Quilt Guild is holding a challenge using her lovely Madrona Road collection.  The PMQG issued the challenge to us to make mini quilts.

All solids are Kona.  The template is by Tab-slot.  I quilted everything using approx. 3/8″ distance following the pattern.  The back is a strips of solids and Madrona Road.  This was a fun challenge!  The whole mini quilt measures about 10 1/2″ squared.

You can check out the Modern Quilt Guild Madrona Road Challenge Flickr page to see lots more inspiration!
